Stays on this PC
Rootlize works with folders you already have. It does not upload your image library to Rootlize cloud storage, and you do not have to import files into a separate app library.
Prototype Preview · Windows
Search the folder you already have — not a new library.
Rootlize helps you search the Windows folders you already use — screenshots, reference assets, and AI-generated images — then narrow the results, organize selected files, and save repeat work as a reusable workflow.
Your files stay in their existing folders. Rootlize shows a preview and asks for confirmation before it moves anything.
Windows may show a security warning when you launch Rootlize because the app is currently unsigned. This warning can appear for new or unrecognized apps and does not necessarily mean the app is unsafe.

What you can do
Find images by filename, visible text, or what they show. Then keep working with the results instead of starting over in another app.
Can’t remember the filename, or which folder you saved it in? Search filenames and text in images, or use Meaning Search to find images by what they show.
Narrow a mixed folder to the images that matter, then tag, favorite, rename, or move only the files you choose.
When the same cleanup comes back, describe the job and create an editable workflow. Review the preview before anything changes.
On your PC
Point Rootlize at an existing Windows folder. Your images stay there. You do not move them into a Rootlize cloud library.
Rootlize works with folders you already have. It does not upload your image library to Rootlize cloud storage, and you do not have to import files into a separate app library.
Ask AI asks for consent first. Until you agree, Rootlize does not start sending images for AI analysis. After you agree, the first analysis may send images to an external AI. Saved facts are reused, so Meaning Search does not resend images every time. Prototype AI usage is limited; local search and organize still work after the limit.
Deeper capabilities
Once you have a set of images, you can keep working — tag, favorite, and save the flow.
Find images by what they show, not just by filename. After the first consented analysis, later Meaning Search uses saved facts instead of resending images every time.
Describe the work in your own words. After you agree, Ask AI can search and propose actions. You still review a preview before anything runs.
Describe it. AI builds the workflow from Folder, Search, Move, and Tag blocks you can edit. Run it again when the same work comes back. Confirmation stays in place before execute. Rootlize does not organize your files on its own.
